Strange’s outstanding Google and Facebook campaigns for Brunel’s SS Great Britain “Kids Go Free” have won awards at two prestigious awards ceremonies this year.
The campaign won the hotly contested Travel and Leisure category at the Bristol Life Awards and received great feedback from the judges, who commented, “Bold marketing response to macro challenges: ‘Kids Go Free’ campaign saw 30% increase in visitors and family ticket sales smashing budget. Local as well as tourist success.”
And the campaign scooped both the Travel and Leisure Campaign of the Year and the Charity Campaign of the Year awards at the UK Paid Media Awards, receiving glowing feedback from the judges.
Commenting on the Travel and Leisure Campaign of the Year win, the judges commented “Strange demonstrated effective use of data for audience targeting and location adjustments based on performance and daily optimisations. They should be acknowledged for maintaining consistency in their campaigns…resulting in fantastic results that easily met the objectives set at the outset”
Commenting on the Charity Campaign of the Year win, the judges commented “This campaign stood out for its forward thinking approach and organised structure, impressing us with its use of scarcity tactics and specific results achieved though unique messaging changes. They demonstrated clear KPIs, transparent budget allocation, innovative use of AI in identifying the target audience and smart utilisation of Facebook and Google Ads.”
